Prenatal Safe in Franklin, TN

Our signature Bump Ball Method™ allows for back lying comfort, safe techniques, and gentle but firm pressure for aches, swelling, and sleep. Plus, add on Reiki for bonding with baby and calming presence.

Pregnancy Support: Comfort, Calm & Safe Touch

Growing a baby asks a lot of your body. Our prenatal‑trained therapists use supportive bolstering during both a back-lying and sitting position to ease back, hip, and rib discomfort, all while helping your nervous system settle. Sessions are tailored to your needs. Running hot or cold? We will gladly adjust the temperature in the room and on the table for your comfort. Whether you prefer it quiet or conversation-friendly, just let us know at the beginning of your session. Baby and mom's safety is our number one priority, so assistance can be given at any time if you need help on or off the table.

How We Help

We focus on relieving common pregnancy patterns—low‑back/hip ache, neck and shoulder tension, pelvic and rib tightness, sciatica, and swelling. Techniques are gentle to moderate and avoid contraindicated pressure points. We check in often, adjust positioning for comfort, and keep heat moderate and localized (no full‑body hot stone).

Your Care Plan Recommendation

1. RESET

Start with a suggested cadence of once a month. Prenatal massage is common for expecting mamas to relieve aches and pains and support sleep. Add on a back scrub or face mask at check out for a little extra care. If that feels overstimulating, Reiki is also a great place to start for bonding with baby and relaxing into this big transition.

2. PROGRESS

Maintain your normal cadence or come bi-weekly until the third trimester. Then, you can increase to weekly sessions or to an as needed schedule, alternating prenatal massage and Reiki to maintain mobility and address evolving patterns in your hips, SI joint, rib cage, jaw and neck as well as evolving stress levels and baby bonding needs.

3. MAINTENANCE

AFTER BIRTH, return to bodywork with your medical provider's clearance. In POSTPARTUM, continue gentle prenatal massage focusing on neck, shoulders, low back, and lymphatic support and/or Reiki sessions (fully clothed) for nervous system support. We suggest maintenance every 4-6 weeks.

4. DEEPEN

To deepen your work beyond massage and Reiki during pregnancy, you can optionally add pregnancy-aware Reflexology for calming support while avoiding contraindicated zones, schedule transpersonal hypnotherapy for subconscious healing, and/or visit our sound bath events. Once you're beyond your POSTPARTUM period, you can ease yourself back into regular bodywork with gentle lymphatic massage to move puffiness and stagnation before going back to deep tissue or Swedish. Lymphatic massage is great for c-sections.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is prenatal massage safe in the first trimester?
Many clients receive gentle sessions throughout pregnancy. If you are high‑risk or unsure, please get clearance from your OB/midwife.

What positions do you use?
Primarily back‑lying with supportive bolstering and sitting up with exercise ball assistance in our signature Bump Ball Method™. We avoid prolonged flat‑on‑back after mid‑pregnancy and adjust continuously for comfort.

How deep is the pressure?
Gentle to moderate, always below your bracing threshold. We avoid contraindicated pressure points and strong deep work to the abdomen/inner legs.

What about essential oils?
We keep scents minimal and use pregnancy‑friendly options on request—or go unscented if you’re sensitive.

Can I book if I have a high‑risk pregnancy?
With your provider’s clearance, yes. We’ll adapt your session to their guidance and your comfort.
