When your body holds the weight of grief, deconstruction, or big life change, it can feel like you’re always bracing. At Intuitive Bodywork TN, we move at the speed of safety: you set the pace, the pressure, and the plan. Our approach blends nervous‑system‑aware touch with energy work to help your body unwind and your spirit soften back into itself.
How We Help
Emotional shock and long‑held stress often live as anxiety, overwhelm, inability to say "no" or ask for what you want or need, fight or flight, tight jaws, shallow breath, tender ribs, aching shoulders, or even feeling too cold or too hot. We use gentle Reiki/Energy Balancing and massage to signal safety, ease guarding, and invite a deeper exhale—without forcing a release. Then, when you're ready, we provide a clear path to progress into even deeper work to unwind old patterns and conditioning that needs to go, so you can move forward with ease.
Your Care Plan Recommendation
1. RESET
Starting with Reiki, establish safety; relax out of fight or flight; and balance, support, and stretch your energy system so you can release emotional blockages. We suggest doing this for 4-8 weekly sessions.
2. PROGRESS
We suggest, weekly or bi-weekly, continuing with Reiki while adding in gentle Swedish for relaxation or Craniosacral massage to integrate energy work insights into your body. Introduce light self care rituals at home.
3. MAINTENANCE
We suggest continuing with Reiki and/or gentle Swedish or Craniosacral massage every 4-6 weeks to keep your baseline calm and continue integration of insights. Schedule around life milestones or triggers.
4. DEEPEN
Once your nervous system is reset, the deeper work can start. Now it's time to look into trauma-informed life or trauma recovery coaching options or explore transpersonal or past life regression hypnotherapy. Our coaching empowers you to actively live life on your own terms while hypnotherapy delves into the subconscious mind for soul-level healing. Both equip you with tools for lasting change.
Simple, At-Home Care Recommendations
5 minutes of box breathing or “long exhale” daily
Warm mineral bath or foot soak in the evening
Grounding walks; bare feet on Earth for 2–5 minutes
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
Eat whole, clean (unprocessed) foods.

Frequently Asked Questions
What might I feel during Reiki?
Anything from deep calm and warmth to tingling, itching, twitching, gentle emotional release or even simple rest. All responses are welcome.
Can I stay clothed the whole time?
Yes. Energy sessions are fully clothed. If you choose massage, you'll have draping throughout.
Will I have to talk about my trauma?
Only if you want to. Your body’s signals guide us; you always have choice.
How many sessions will I need?
Most folks feel a shift in 1–3 visits. Nervous system crisis tends to reset in 6-8 sessions. We can evaluate as we go. Sustainable change builds with steady cadence and at‑home care.
Can I combine this with therapy or medication?
Yes. Many clients do. We’re happy to coordinate timing with your existing care team if you wish.
